A.R.C. Corona Helmet:

Review:

There are many helmet manufacturers out there, but there are few that you can get a D.O.T. and SNELL approved helmet for under $100. A.R.C. is one that produces such a helmet for a low price. Rocky Mountain ATV sells these helmets for $89.99 plus shipping. The 2003 model product line is on clearance for $59.99 plus shipping. We purchased one through their website.

Our first initial impression is that this is a well-made helmet. The helmet is pretty rigid. The helmet features forward air induction ports, removable and washable moisture absorbing liner, goggle grip with large eye port, and padded chinstrap.

We set about to test the fit of the helmet. It is quite comfortable. The sizing seems to be a bit off though. We did however like the feel of the fully padded chinstrap. The helmet does not have any venting on the rear but does have vents on the front under the visor designed to allow air movement through the top of the helmet providing it to be cooler when moving. Te eye port provides plenty of room for many types of goggles and good peripheral vision.
